Hi,

I want to make only 2D png sprite sheet export for 2D game.

I do not need API

Can I use Designer version ?
Or do I need 2D (dev) version?

it is not clear if there is a difference.

If I understood correctly, you want to get API for android and ios. API of Magic Particles is commercial. You will get the links to android and ios after purchasing automatically.

I downloaded and ran Magic Particles free version. I can't see any way to save or export as a video file. Is that not included in the free version?

"Magic Particles 3D (Dev) Free" is version for game developers. This version has no the export. All other versions allow to save the special effect as a avi file or png, tga, etc. But these versions are not free.

The versions of API for Windows and Mac OS and the wrappers for these platforms are available for evaluation for FREE. The versions for other platforms are provided by the developer after the purchassing of the license.

ld: embedded dylibs/frameworks are only supported on iOS 8.0 and later (@executable_path/magic.dylib) for architecture i386

Why do you try to use "magic.dylib" for iOS ? "magic.dylib" is API for MAC OS.

The current version of the Cocos ios9.3 on the use of the xcode7.3 version of the problem:magic.dylib does not support more than SDK9

Hi!
I'm having some trouble running the DirectX 11 2D/3D Windows Phone 8 wrapper, maybe you could help me a bit. It works great with win32 build for the emulator in Visual studio, but when i try to run it on device it crashes. I changed the libs (magic.lib & magic.dll) for the ones from WP8 API and made project settings in the ARM configuration, but still no luck. Maybe I'm missing something?

There are different libraries for WinPhone8 and WinPhone8.1. Please, you will be sure that you use the correct version.
Unfortunately, I do not work with WinPhone for long time and I forgot details. I remember that you need to add DLL in project and mark the flag 'Content=YES'. Some games use my API for Windows Phone: http://astralax.com/titles. You may compare the size of DLLs in order to select necessary version: Mystery of the Opera.

Hi, I have just downloaded Marmalade 7.1.2 and have issues with the Arm compiler with delete MP (MP_Manager_Marmalade) deleting object of polymorphic class type 'MP_Manager' which has non-virtual destructor might cause undefined behaviour [-Werror=delete-non-virtual-dtor] (col 10)
Any chance you have a workaround?

I think It is a specific feature of ARM compiler. The class MP_Manager does not need destructor. But you may add empty destructor on your own. I think it will solve your problem.

thanks very much. I have solved the problem. The reason why the problem happend to me is that i changed the VS version to run it. I used the vs2010 to build the project and forgot to open the macro definition(COCOS_2DX, OPENGL_SHADER).

Thank you for info. The file mp_wrap.cpp is universal for all versions of engines that use OpenGL. Therefore I need to use additional macro definition.
