editor getting slow

Hey, I have a problem with the editor. It is getting slower over time. If i restart it, its fast again. It takes about 15-30 minutes with any particle system having +500 particles. Any thoughts regarding this?

I know about this problem, but I did not see it on my computers. If you hide the Timeline (View->Timeline) the problem will desappear. But I do not understand the reasons. Timeline is drawn by standard functions of Windows GDI. "Device Contextes" are not lost.

I think you need some more ram.
