Particle Orientation to Camera

It seems that all the particles in this editor always face the camera? Is it possible to have the particles always face along a particular axis, so that you can make particles that looking like water ripples or force the particles to face the camera but only rotate around the y-axis for things like fire? I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself very well. Please let me know if I'm being unclear.
