Instant burst (emission over 1 frame)

Hey there - thanks for any help / advice.

I'm a newbie to MagicParticle.

I'm trying to achieve an effect which requires that all particles are created simultaneously (an instant burst) over a single frame @ 60fps.

Currently, I can only emit particles over a 1 second duration - is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?

Cheers,

fix.

Hi

I hope I understood you rightly.
You can show the emitter not from beginning. Use the field "Visibility range":

Thanks Odin,

This is a partial fix - but the particles will appear too late.

They must be visible from frame 00:01 onwards - is there a way to achieve this as well?

Perhaps you need the diagram "Number of emitted particles".
