Changing the width and height of a particle type

Postby bfhobbes » Sat Oct 18, 2014 12:27 am

I would like to be be able to specify a fixed height, but a range for the width in the "Size of particle" diagram. I would then like to be just able to adjust the width over the lifetime of the particle using the "Size over life" diagram.

For example, I want the size of particle to be 200 units high, and 50-100 units wide. Over it's lifetime, I want it to stay at 200 units high, and the width to increase overtime by 300%.

Have I missed something obvious or is there no direct way to do this?

thanks for your help

Yes, you may change width and height of the particle independently. Use the diagram "Size over life (factor),%". Click on blue square and green line will be added to the diagram.
